"I AM A TREASURE HUNTER!"
That's what I shouted at my boyfriend out of no where during breakfast.
I made it to my 30s without ever being sure about what it is I'm meant to do on this earth. Yet in that moment it was so obvious.
I just love finding and appreciating what is special.
Growing up in upstate New York, I would spend almost every weekend going to yard sales, discount stores, and flea markets with my dad. When we weren't thrifting, we were at the local Boscov's department store, with the dusty pink 1970s decor, studying everything that was for sale. I love hunting down thrifted goods so much that I would do it whether or not I got paid, so here I am.
I sell knick-knacks and other nostalgic items, but my focus is on women's fashion. I'm the type of person that pays just as much attention to the outfits on TV as the dialogue. I love clothes, and I always have.
My favorite items are the weird ones, clothing or decor that is just so unique that I can't look away. Most of my inventory is from the 80s and 90s, but I never turn down a treasure, no matter the decade.
I believe in the environmental benefits of reusing the vast amount of goods we have already produced, when possible. The bonus is that unique vintage pieces can add intrigue to your wardrobe at an affordable price.
